I always had a problem with this term for going for the next best thing instead of what you wanted from the start. Ya know, like "if you can't be with the one you love, then love the one you're with" type of deal. The shit just sounds cheap and backhanded. People are always asking and then looking for perfection. 100%!!! That ideal person has to be complete. Not a fraction of what ya want! Not partially fitting to your tastes with a few vices or undesireables thrown here or there. But the cup beng filled completely. We have all looked for them.
But what happens when the ideal person you want...in real life...doesn't want you?
